We were lucky enough to spend a day with Paula this spring thas she showed us the best of Rome. The weather was against us from the beginning with light showers to heavy downpours. However, we truly didn’t even notice the rain because of Paola. Her superior knowledge, only surpassed by her passion and enthusiasm for Roman culture and history, made for an exciting adventure regardless of the rain. In addition, she is fluent in “American” English and very easy to understand. Thank you Paola for taking what could have been a miserable day and turning it into a field trip of a lifetime! Grazie mille!

Paola, On May 23 I was traveling with an EF tour group in Rome, and you were our guide for the Vatican. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. I was exhausted, being that we were on the last leg of our trip, but you held my interest and delivered the information about the artwork in the Sistine Chapel so enthusiastically. You were extremely knowledgeable and passionate. In addition, you were able to navigate us through the crowds without losing anyone in our large group and also made sure everyone heard what you were saying while we were in the museum. It had the potential to be a hectic day, but I would definitely go back again if you were going to be my guide. Thank you again for a great experience!

This summer I had the pleasure of leading an EF group of American students on a tour of Italy, France and Spain. I teach law, history and world cultures/geography at Ridley High School, located about 10 kilometers south of Philadelphia. You were one of the best local tour guides we have ever worked with. I have led eight student tours throughout Europe, and I have been on four separate guided tours of Rome. You are the most knowledgeable and most interesting guide we have used in Rome. The students loved your energy and sense of humor. You really know how to relate to teenage students, and did a great job of keeping them interested. In addition, your spoken English is outstanding and your ability to communicate with my students was fantastic. You’re such a great story teller, Paola, and your use of photos and pictures helped my students better understand Roman history and life in ancient Rome.Thanks for making our visit to Rome so wonderful.
